Komet Tree Saddles
Komet saddles may be less well known in America than in Europe, but with design this good and construction this tight, it's just a matter of time before Komet is a household name for tree climbers. Komet saddles are sturdily built like a Buckingham tree saddle, but are light weight and have modern design like a Petzl harness. Check out the pictures below to see why Komet tree saddles are a sensation on both sides of the Atlantic.
Basic sizing for Komet saddles is:
Waist measurements from 28” to 34” and leg measurements from 19” to 25” = Size 1
Waist measurements from 34” to 40” and leg measurements from 24” to 30” = Size 2

Komet Dragonfly Tree Saddle
It's finally here! The Komet Dragonfly tree saddle is just like the Komet Butterfly II but with a batten seat instead of leg loops. Leg straps with quick connect buckles retain the seat in the correct position and are faster to fasten than grommet style buckles. The waist belt also has a quick connect buckle. The Komet Dragonfly is a fully modular saddle so the lower section and bridge can be easily replaced. The Dragonfly features two small steel rings and three nylon gear loops. Complies with CE and ANSI standards. Weighs approximately 4 lb.
Size: Standard 28”-45”, Extra-Large 35”-51”
Batten Seat for Komet Butterfly II & Dragonfly
Replacement Batten Seat and for the Komet harnesses. Can be used to assemble the Butterfly II as a Dragonfly. Be sure to buy the right size for your harness.
