Whoopie slings are made from 12 strand polyester Tenex rope & designed for knotless rigging. One eye is fixed and the other is adjustable, with one end of the spliced rope passing through the center of the hollow core. Set the choker and shorten the eye to adjust length. When weight is applied to the sling, the outer core tightens on the rope.
A Whoopie sling is included in our False Crotch Rigging Kit.
Loopie Slings are adjustable continuous loop slings made from Samson Tenex rope that makes knotless rigging possible. One of the most popular uses of this sling is to attach a block at the top of the tree without having to tie a knot. Available in multiple lengths, this is a great item for rigging secondary pulleys, redirects, and multiple anchors to help loading on the main pulley.
This is the strongest way you can anchor your arborist block for false crotch rigging. The Amsteel Whoopie is the only sling that is as strong as the blocks it is intended to hold. Made of 5/8” Amsteel Blue, with protective cordura sheathing.
The first ever adjustable endless round sling. They are composed of ten 1’ and one 6” individual slings connected together like the links of a chain. By choking the sling at the desired link, K-Links slings can be adjusted to any size. Because they are adjustable, a single K-Links sling can replace up to 20 regular round slings. If the sling becomes damaged or worn it can be repaired by replacing individual links. K-Links slings are also the only sling that can be choked without reducing the strength. K-Links slings have the same SWL in choker and single leg configurations.

This modified Whoopie sling has an adjustable eye at each end (shown here.) Works as a limb balancer when one end is connected to the rigging line with a prusik knot and the other end to the branch tip. Once connected, the prusik knot can be moved up or down the rigging line to balanced out the branch. Made from 1/2” Tenex (breaking strength 13,000 lbs. Strength of unit depends on knot and angle of use.)
