Big Shot Line Launcher
The easiest way to get your line into the tree, this line launcher works like a giant slingshot to launch lines up to 100 feet. Can be used with a standard throw weight and throw line system, or with the specially designed bullet weights on this page. The big shot is equally popular with arborists, competition climbers, and recreational tree climbers. Being able to put your throw ball and line through the target crotch with precision and speed is definitively worth the investment.
Please be aware that the 8’ pole is oversized, and an additional shipping fee must be added. (Usually 15-25$.)
8’ Big Shot Line Launcher Kit

Big Shot 2’ Adapter Pole
This 2’ adapter snaps into a 6’ fiberglass pole (page 110) to adapt it for use with the Big Shot.

Provides accurate launching every time. Secure the release to Big Shot pole then stretch the sling and secure the loop in the snap. Remote pull cord allows you to aim the launcher carefully then release with a simple tug. Stainless steel.
Big Shot Launcher Line Reel
This is a deluxe Zebco reel originally designed for fishing! Pre spooled with 25 pound line, this can hold up to 125 yards of line. The line may not hold up to pulling a climbing line into place, but can be used to get a tag line up on a long shot very quickly. Very handy for tall shots. Must be mounted onto the pole with two hose clamps (not included.)
