Rope Snaps & Clips
These rope clips and snaps are made to meet the ANSI standards for Tree Care Operations and Arborists. This means they are self-auto-locking, self-auto-closing, and require two actions to unlock them and another to open. Additionally, every rope clip must meet the breaking strength requirement of at least 5,000 lb. (23kn). We stock several styles of rope snaps, including lightweight aluminum clips and durable steel snaps. All have an eye for attaching to your climbing line, and swivel-eye models are also available, as is a locking spreader snap which is great for split-suspension saddles. A round rope thimble is a great accessory to have with your rope clip, as it increases the bend radius your rope goes around where you clip in, and helps to preserve the breaking strength and life of the rope.
