The saw-stopping power in these chaps comes from the extra large, 1440 denier Kevlar strands spaced 3/4” apart in the long weave of the 6- ply chaps. To keep these strands functioning it is important to keep the chaps clean, which is why the chaps are built to repel water, grease, and oil. The chaps are reversible as well, so if one side becomes dirty they can be reversed and worn longer in between washings. These chaps are fully compliant with OSHA logging standards. For the proper fit measure the wearer from belt to top of foot to get “overall length.”

A less expensive alternative to Kevlar chaps, these Nylon chaps are 12 layers thick and covered with durable polyester twill. They have a pocket on the left front and come in 2 sizes: 36” and 40”. These are overall lengths, top to bottom, not inseam measurements. Heavier than Kevlar chaps. They are available in an apron-style which covers the front of the legs only, and a a wrap-around style which buckles around the calf.
