Buckstraps
This older style safety lanyard is no longer as popular because the prusik used to adjust it is often difficult to reach around the back of the tree while climbing.

These fliplines are lightweight and inexpensive. Three strand rope holds up well to abrasion and gives a good surface to rip. Great as a secondary flipline for safety. Unit adjusts with building prusik knot and comes with steel auto-locking rope clips, with a a plastic thimble at one end.
