“I use 1/2" Stable Braid - ALL THE TIME - it is my go to rope and it always performs when I need it. Usually I run it through a CMI Stainless Steel block and rig out just about anything but the largest pieces of wood. This rope takes a beating and still holds strong. I've run it through natural crotches as well and though they tear up the rope my Stable Braid continues to work very well. Excellent knot holding, easy to tie and untie even, runs very smoothly through a Port-a-Wrap and a variety of blocks and pulleys. I even use it with my Portable Winch and I've never had an issue. Hands-down this is the best rope I could recommended, tough as nails and is a very reliable tool in my truck, buy the 600' spool and cut it into 200' sections, you won't be sorry you did.”
Samson Stable Braid is one of the best rigging lines available. In 1/2” diameter, Samson stable Braid has a breaking strength of 10,400 lb. Stable Braid is a double-braid, 100% polyester rigging rope that is exceptionally low stretch, abrasion resistant, and runs best though an arborist block for false crotch rigging. Stable braid is flexible and easy to handle, which makes a great combination with the high strength of this rope. 1/2&qrdquo; Samson Stable Braid is incredibly strong for its size, and makes a great every-day rigging line.
