WesSpur Tree Equipment, Inc. is a world wide supplier of arborist equipment. We sell the specialized tools and equipment that tree climbers, arborists and others in the tree care and removal industry use. WesSpur operates an online information site and webstore located at www.wesspur.com and we have a full color 100+ page catalog that we send all over the world. We are a small company located in Bellingham Washington. The work environment at WesSpur is relaxed. We get our work done and still try to have a little fun. Dress is casual.

WesSpur is located near downtown Bellingham, at 2121 Iron Street.

Warehouse Worker 2: Order Packer

WesSpur is looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented person to join our warehouse shipping team. The order packer is responsible for checking the accuracy of items pulled by the order pickers, packing them securely in preparation for shipping, and completing the fulfillment and printing shipping labels from our computer system. This is a physical and high-paced job, but also demands high accuracy and attention to detail. Packing boxes quickly is important, but shipping orders accurately is the lifeblood of the company, so accuracy is an absolute must!

In addition to these core duties, everyone in the warehouse will assist picking orders, putting away freight, or assembling product when needed. Assembly work is light using hand tools to build pole saw kits or put together products.

Required:

• Hard worker
• Must be able to get along with people. No whiners!
• Good manual dexterity for assembly work
• Able to lift 60lb
• Able to use a computer
• Able to stand / walk in a warehouse 8 hours
• Must be detail oriented, shipping requires a great deal of accuracy. If that is not your thing don't bother!

Not required but favorable:

• Forklift qualification
• Experience with inventory management
• Experience with international shipping
• Experience is a plus (motivated learners will be trained)

The position is full-time (40 hours), from 7-4 (1 hour lunch) Monday-Friday. We work hard, but we don't work nights or weekends. Starting pay $10-12 per hour DOE and there is a great potential for a hard-working person to go up from there. We offer a matching 401k (after 1000 hours), medical, dental and vacation all after 3 months. Make sure you meet the qualifications before applying.
