These mechanical flipline adjusters are great devices for adjusting the length of a flipline. They require only one hand to adjust, unlike a prusik knot, and are more durable and less likely to be damaged or cut during cutting. This flipline adjuster is designed for 1/2” rope, and travels and operates in either direction, effectively turning a double-snap flipline into a two-in-one flipline. The Klimair is compact and lightweight. Climbing with a two-in-one flipline is safer and allows the climber to bypass branches without being unsecured.
