Samson Ultra-Tech prusik line has a polyester outer sheath over a Technora fiber core. The core is heat resistant to over 900 degrees so that it won't burn through and part in quick descents. Breaking strength is 7,800 lb. for 5/16”. This size is great for use on smaller diameter climbing lines such as Samson Velocity and New England Fly. Breaking strength is 10,000 lb. for 3/8”. This size of Ultra-Tech prusik cord is ideal for use on 1/2” climbing lines such as Samson ArborMaster® or New England Safety Blue.
