30” Hand-Spliced Eye-to-Eye Prusiks

Eye-to-eye prusiks are 30” overall, with hand-spliced eyes and meet ANSI guidelines for strength. See below for individual properties of the different cords.

Ocean: 50% Kevlar, 50% Polyester jacket over Polyester core. Heat-resistant, high performance cord.
HRC: Nomex / Technora cover over Vectran core. Heat-resistant.
Ice Tail: 80% Technora / 20% Polyester blend. Soft & flexible.
Tenex: Polyester 12-strand grips well on all polyester lines. Not heat-resistant.
Bee-Line: 75% Technora / 25% polyester cover over Vectran core. High strength & heat resistance.
Ultra-Tech: Polyester cover protects Technora heat-resistant core from wear. Technora is high-strength, low-stretch & heat-resistant to 900°.

3/8” Bee Line with Vectran Core Hand-Spliced Prusik

Eye and eye hand-spliced prusik from 10mm / 3/8” Bee Line with the new version of Yale's popular prusik cord. For years the 10mm (3/8”) Bee Line had a different construction than the 5/16” cord, without the Vectran core. Now 10 mm Bee Line has the same construction as the very popular 8 mm Bee Line with a Vectran core and 75% Technora / 25% Polyester cover. This results in a high-strength prusik cord with improved heat-resistance.

5/16” Bee-Line Sewn Prusik

Sewn Eye-to-Eye 30” prusik made from Yale Cordage's popular 5/16” Bee-Line heat-resistant prusik cord. 5/16” Bee-Line prusik cord is made from a 12-strand Vectran core with a 75% Kevlar/ 25% polyester cover. (This is different than the 3/8” Bee-Line: see above.) A very popular choice. Meets ANSI guidelines.

5/16” Armor-Prus Sewn Prusik

Eye to eye prusik from the popular new Armor-Prus cord. Unique cover blend of Technora and polyester acts like armor over a core of lightweight Spectra 900/Kevlar. Technora outer and Kevlar core fibers make for extreme heat resistance and durability. Very low stretch and high durability.

Sewn eye-to-eye prusiks from 5/16”(8mm) Ocean prusik cord. Ocean cord is a 50% Kevlar, 50% polyester jacket over a 100% polyester core, making Ocean a highly heat-resistant prusik with great handling. Ocean prusik cord is also available in bulk cord and in 3/8”.

Sewn eye-to-eye prusiks from 3/8”(10mm) Ocean prusik cord. Ocean cord is a 50% Kevlar, 50% polyester jacket over a 100% polyester core, making Ocean a highly heat-resistant prusik with great handling. Ocean prusik cord is also available in bulk cord and in 5/16”

5/16” HRC Sewn Prusik

Sewn eye-to-eye, 30” prusik from 5/16” HRC which is highly heat-resistant and works great on 7/16” and larger climbing lines. Great heat resistance and performance. Meets ANSI guidelines.

5/16” Ice Tail Sewn Prusiks

Sewn eye-to-eye prusiks from Samson Ice-tail 5/16”(8mm) prusik cord. Samson heat-resistant 12-strand cord is made from 80% Technora / 20% polyester blend. This prusik cord is very flexible and easy to splice with a Class 1 12-strand splice. Heat resistant.

3/8” Tenex Sewn Prusik

Sewn eye-to-eye 30” 3/8” prusik is a true 3/8” which works great on 7/16” to 1/2” climbing lines. Reliable, affordable, and works great. Not heat-resistant. Meets ANSI guidelines.

5/16” Bail Out Sewn Prusik

Sewn eye-to-eye, 30” prusik from 5/16” Bail Out which is highly heat-resistant and works great on 7/16” and larger climbing lines. Great heat resistance and performance. Bail Out prusik cord by Samson was originally developed for firefighters who literally needed to “Bail Out” of some very hot situations! Bail Out prusiks have the top performance, durability and strength you would expect from these origins. Meets ANSI guidelines.

5/16” Ultra-Tech Sewn Prusiks

Sewn eye-to-eye prusiks from Samson Ultra-Tech 5/16” (8mm) prusik cord. The polyester cover of Ultra-Tech cord protects the Technora heat-resistant core from external wear. Technora is a high-strength, low-stretch fiber and melts at 900° Fahrenheit. Ultra-tech is some of the strongest prusik cord we carry, and is available in bulk cord and also in 3/8”.

Sewn eye-to-eye prusiks from Samson Ultra-Tech 3/8” (10mm) prusik cord. The polyester cover of Ultra-Tech cord protects the Technora heat-resistant core from external wear.
