1" Pulleys and Arborist Blocks

1” capacity blocks and pulley are truly massive pieces of equipment built to accept ultra-heavy duty rope such as 7/8” Samson Stable Braid and 1” Tenex Rigging Slings. We offer the classic Hobbs 1” Arborist block which offers unparalleled strength and construction. Please note that Working Load Limits (WLL) are listed at 10% of the Breaking Strength (Breaking Strength.) This is a safer ratio to use than the 5:1 ratio commonly used for lifting applications, as tree work involves the risk of shock loading, and it is the same ratio used when calculating the Working Load Limit of Arborist Rope.

1” Hobbs Block

The Hobbs Blocks is a great piece of hardware in any capacity. In the 1” capacity it is the strongest block we carry, with bolted side plates, bronze bushing, and heavy duty aluminum body that stands up to heavy use. Impressive breaking strengths, wide cheek plates, and wide sheaves for maintaining good bend radius are some of the great features that have made this a classic design. Incredible 4 ton working load!
