Double pulley with integrated cam that provides immediate progress capture without the need of prusik loops. Stainless pins retain the rope when a rigged system is packed so that system can be pulled out and used immediately. Manufactured from high quality aluminum and anodized to help prevent corrosion. The perfect “mate” for the SMC Advance Tech pulley in mechanical advantage systems. This compact pulley features integrated stainless steel pins to retain the rope when a rigged mechanical advantage system is stored, so that you can immediately deploy and use the system. The Advance Tech mate is made from anodized aluminum with a ball bearing axle and 1.5” aluminum sheave. SMC has machined this pulley to be a perfect component in your mechanical advantage system, with sealed ball bearings, sleek and low-profile design. Works with ropes up to 1/2” (12.5mm).

The smallest in the Traxion line of progress-capture pulleys, the Micro Traxion is a super-compact and highly efficient (91%) pulley with great applications in tree climbing. As with the other Traxion series pulleys, the Micro Traxion can be used to create a haul system, but the most exciting use for tree climbers is using the Micro Traxion as a backup above an ascent device like the Petzl Zig Zag during SRT ascent. The Micro Traxion can also be used as a compact emergency ascender.

The Omni block pulley has a built in swivel to help ensure that the rope fairleads in and out of the block so that all pulling force is placed squarely onto the sheave. This helps to preserve the breaking strength of the system and to prevent the rope from abrasion with the cheek plates. Ideally suited for use as a false crotch with a climbing line, the Omni block will help to prevent the rope from getting twisted. 1/2” capacity.
