Samson Amsteel II Plus
Amsteel II Plus is a great cable-replacing rope for winch line or high-strength rigging line.
The Dyneema core provides a high strength (14,600 lb in 7/16” diameter line), and this core is protected with a polyester cover for good abrasion and heat resistance. This is an ideal rope to use on your chipper winch.
Please note that Amsteel II Plus behaves differently than normal rope and maintains the most strength when used with a spliced termination. Tied knots may severely reduce the breaking strength of Amsteel II Plus.

Amsteel II Plus double-braid has a strong core with a cover that creates a firm rope while serving to protect the core. This rope has extremely low elongation and is a lightweight replacement for wire rope in winch lines. More affordable than Amsteel Blue, but still very high Strength. Spliceable.
