Samson ArborMaster® Climbing Line
Looking for a high-performance arborist climbing line with high strength and great feel? Samson ArborMaster® is for you. No other rope we stock has the same combination of strength, performance, and durability and comes in a number of color patterns to suit your needs.
ArborMaster® is our best-selling climbing line. This rope is an excellent balance of high strength (6,500 lb. spliced) and low weight (7.7 lb. per 100 ft.). ArborMaster® is a 16-strand, single-braid, 1/2” diameter rope. ArborMaster® works well with friction hitches such as the Tautline and Blake’s hitch, and is supple and handles well for all manner of arborist's knots.
Samson ArborMaster® is made from polyester with a nylon core and is highly resistant to abrasion with very low stretch (0.60% at 200 lb). The smooth and durable surface makes it great for foot-locking, or use with an ascender.
ArborMaster® comes in four high visibility color patterns: blue/white, red/black/white, gold/white, and the blue/yellow “Bigfoot” pattern. ArborMaster®'s various color combinations work well together when used in the split-tail climbing system. WesSpur offers spliced split tails made from ArborMaster® 16-strand line.
