ArborMaster® continues to be our best selling premium climbing line. This rope is an excellent balance of high strength (8,100 lb.) and low weight (7.7 lb. per 100 ft.). ArborMaster® is a 16 strand single braid rope and is ½” in diameter. A very supple and pliable rope, ArborMaster® works well with friction hitches such as the Tautline and Blake’s hitch. Made from polyester with a nylon core, it is highly resistant to abrasion and has very low stretch (0.60% at 200 lb.). The smooth and durable surface makes it great for foot locking. ArborMaster® comes in three high visibility color patterns: blue/white, red/black/white, and gold/white, making it easy to visually distinguish last year’s retired climbing line from this year’s. ArborMaster® does not rotate when under tension and is spliceable. ArborMaster®'s various color combinations work well together when used in the split-tail climbing system. WesSpur offers spliced split tails made from ArborMaster® 16-strand line.

The original heat resistant prusik cord for emergency descents. 5/16” Ultra-tech is strong and has Technora core so it won't melt through. 5,400 lb. tensile. Spliced eyes. 30” overall. This is a great prusik for use with all ropes, and especially Samson ropes.
