The world's first spliceable kernmantle, New England Rope's 7/16"(11mm) “The Fly" runs through gear effortlessly without getting mushy, and stays round and firm to give the climber a smooth, controlled descent. The Fly is designed for all vertical applications that interface with mechanical hardware. It offers the perfect combination of the low stretch characteristics of a static rope with the added safety of being able to withstand the forces and absorb some of the energy generated by a fall. The fly is easy to knot, resists flattening and glazing, and works well in hardware. Red and white pattern for good visibility.
