Samson Tree-Master rope is a great line for natural crotch rigging due to its high strength and wear-resistance. Tree-Master rope is a hard-lay tree strand, which means that the strands in the line are very tight, making this rope difficult to splice unless you own the Point Hudson Splicing Phid, but giving it excellent knot holding and firmness. Tree-Master is a 100% polyester rope, very strong, and abrasion and mildew resistant. Because it is a twisted 3-strand and not a braided rope, Tree-Master may rotate under load so if having a non-rotational line is important to your rigging operation, check out Samson Stable Braid.
