Yale Polydyne rigging lines are high-strength, abrasion-resistant double-braid polyester ropes that will deliver professional performance. Polydyne rope is constructed with a polyester sleeve over a nylon core. The unique characteristic of Polydyne rope is that it has increased energy absorption, allowing you to rig down heavier loads than you normally would on a line of similar strength. This increased elasticity does mean that the rope will stretch more, so you'll need to be aware of the extra stretch in the line.
