The Evolution of Single Rope Technique in Arboriculture

SRT (Single Rope Technique) climbing systems have made great advances with the introduction of devices such as the Unicender, Wraptor, and Rope Wrench. Learn basics of sound SRT climbing systems as well as the latest innovations and tricks in this seminar.

This course will cover SRT from the beginning to the newest trends in arboriculture. Anchoring systems, Texas, Frog, Mitchell, Bungee Ropewalker, standard rappel techniques, anchoring systems and demonstration of using SRT to work a tree utilizing the latest tools for SRT, the Unicender and Ropewrench. CEUs available.

Participants will get the opportunity to climb on the systems demonstrated and try them out. PPE (gloves, helmet) required.
