Captain Hook by Dmm (hook only)
The Captain is a self-locating, high strength hook designed to aid stability and positioning for modern work-at-height techniques.
It's pivoting D shackle helps orientation and ensures reliable location on the anchor. Great for connecting to remote anchors and facilitating controlled sideways movement. Racks on harness to minimize snagging while in the tree.
Clever design allows the device to be efficiently racked when the job is done to minimize chances of snagging.
Note: the Captain no longer comes with a XSRE carabiner.

Very useful tool

I really wanted a cost effective set up. So I bought the hook only and had a rope made up and sewn eye and the hook has worked flawlessly with my own custom rope. Love this thing not only for work positioning, but as a throw tool, grab-hand tool attach point.
