The auto-lock carabiner is essential in tree climbing. Rock Exotica's auto-locking carabiners are some of the finest on the market, and available in 3 shapes so you can get the perfect carabiner for your tree climbing system. A unique feature of Rock Exotica's auto-locking carabiners is a pull-down gate. Making the first motion of opening the carabiner gate a pull-down rather than a push-up makes these carabiners easier to open one-handed, with gloves, or when reaching above the climber's head. This motion is more intuitive and natural for your hand than lifting up and away from your palm. Once you try it, youre likely to never go back! (If you do want a push-up sleeve, that's now available in the Up-Rock Carabiners.
