5/8” is a very common size for tree rigging line, and Yale Double Esterlon makes a great rigging rope in the 5/8” size. With high strength and low weight, Double-Esterlon provides consistent, reliable performance. Double-Esterlon is given a Urethane Maxijacket coating which enahnces the durability and abrasion resistance of the rope. 5/8” double esterlon is a great all-around tree rigging rope, with plenty of strength for most jobs. The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has released the ANSI Z133 safety requirements which apply to arboricultural operations.
Arborist rigging lines must be used within their Working Load Limits. (Use of a green log weight chart can help to keep loads within the Working Load Limit of the rigging systems) .
