Sintung for Silky Hayauchi

The Sintung pruner attachment for Hayauchi pole saws is back. This popular item allows you to mount a ratcheting pruner head with a big 2” (50mm) cutting capacity on your Hayauchi pole saws. The Sintung is the only method we know of for utilizing the incredible telescoping poles of a Silky for a pole pruner. The Sintung features a ratcheting cutting action, so for larger cuts progress is held while the user can reset and continue the cut. The Sintung head is supplied with the necessary hardware to attach to your Hayauchi.

The Silky Hayauchi is a professional-level heavy-duty pole saw popular with tree workers who value top-quality tools. The aggressive, fast-cutting blade is complemented by an upper sickle for cutting vines and a lower sickle to undercut the bark for a clean cut. The 3-section Hayauchi is our most popular model, and it's easy to see why. With a length of 21' fully-extended, it weighs in at only 6.9 lb without the sheath. The rigid aluminum poles are oval in cross-section, which gives increased cutting control and strength. Two locking systems - pins backed up by friction clamps - make the saw stay set at each length.

A Durable black polypropylene sheath which secures to the pole is included with the saw. Replacement blades are available above, and will fit both the Hayauchi pole saw and Silky-compatible pole saw head.

“I've had a number of these saws and of course, numerous replacement blades. There is no way I could be as productive on the ground or in the trees without this saw. It's reach enables me to cut where I can't climb for one reason or another. Instead of a throw rope, I use the saw to place lines high in the trees without the missing and hangups of a throw line. It's lightweight design allows for far reaches with not much effort. The blades are razor sharp and last a long time with little need for cleaning or maintenance. I would highly recommend this saw and have many times. Those that have bought one have always been very happy with it.”

“I am 85 and have had this saw for 3 weeks. It has cut maybe 100 branches as BIG AS 5 INCHES AND PERHAPS AS HIGH AS 25 TO 30 FT OFF THE GROUND STANDING ON A LADDER. It cuts live grouth better than dead branches. Coasting $300. it is sometimes unstable when fulley extended and if I had uderstood that I whould have spent the $80. more for the heaver one. However it is much better than i expected. I previously bought a difren't saw for $100. at home deppot and took it back the next day becouse the blade bent.”

“Silky brand has some outstanding products namely the Hayauchi pole saw SAW2106. The compatible Sintung Pruner Head SAW2132 however leaves a user frustrated with its design flaw. The pruner head is quality workmanship but the design flaw gets poor marks. When a cut is made the head gets stuck in the closed position forcing the user to stop work and clear the jam. The jam in the closed position seems to come from either the return spring is not strong enough or the weight of the pulleys/cordage jams the double purchase. If I had knowledge of this flaw I probably would have chosen another brand with a single purchase pulley. ”
