Tenex TEC (Two-End-Carrier) is an excellent 12-strand rope from Samson which is best used for splicing tree rigging slings. Tenex is a high strength, low stretch single braid polyester rope specifically designed with two ends per carrier. This makes it especially good for spliced products such as tree rigging slings. The 12-strand braid is very easy to splice, but makes the rope susceptible to plucking and abrasion if it is run over the bark of a tree as a rigging line. Tenex is coated with Samthane coating for durability and abrasion resistance.
