Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for anyone working in the arb world. Every climber should own and use (at least): a helmet, chainsaw protection for the legs, eye and hearing protection, and gloves. Ground workers also need a full compliment of safety gear, depending on tasks performed. See the Z133 standard for the full requirements.
