About WesSpur

WesSpur Tree Equipment was founded in 1982 as an arborist supply and a tree equipment and machinery dealership. Since then we have grown into a international distributor of arborist equipment and tree climbing supplies. We are based in the Pacific Northwest in Bellingham, WA. In 2004 WesSpur was divided into two separate companies each focusing on different product lines - WesSpur Tree Equipment (Arborist Supply) and WesSpur Machine Sales and Service (Machinery Dealership). WesSpur Machine Sales changed their name to Pacific Tree Equipment in July, 2008.

WesSpur's philosophy as a company is very simple. Treat your customer right, sell quality equipment at the best price possible, treat the employees well, and work hard. If we follow this we feel that the business will be successful and we will enjoy great relationships with our customers. We are not the biggest tree supply shop in the world, but we work hard to be the best.

We are open Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, Pacific time.

On October 15th, 2010 WesSpur moved to a new warehouse location at 2121 Iron Street, in Bellingham, Washington. This move dramatically increased our warehouse space to meet the needs of our tree climbing customers.

Our Tree Gear Selection

Since 1982 WesSpur has supplied professionals in the tree care industry with the tools they need for tree climbing, pruning, support, and removal. The care and climbing of trees requires a wide range of equipment and WesSpur stocks an excellent selection of tree climbing gear to cover every application from the ground to the very top of the tree. Tree work is an intense field that requires the very best equipment to maximize worker efficiency, comfort, and safety and WesSpur carries the very best gear tested and manufactured to industry standards. The tree gear you'll find on this site is professional grade, and wherever possible we have sourced gear from manufacturers in the U.S.A.

WesSpur has a warehouse full of saddles, ropes, saws, and tree climbing and rigging equipment to make sure that you can find exactly the right gear. We are more than happy to order any item for you that we don't carry.

Recreational tree climbing is an activity which is gaining popularity around the world. Much of the gear we sell for professional tree climbers and tree care crosses over into recreational tree climbing, but we also stock tree climbing saddles and other tools made especially for recreational use. Done properly and with the right gear, tree climbing for fun is a safe and intensely rewarding outdoor activity for climbers of all ages.

WesSpur does not currently sell chain saws though we do sell chainsaw chain, bars, files, and other chainsaw accessories.

WesSpur does not currently sell brush chippers or stump grinders, though we do sell brush chipper knives and stump grinder teeth.
