Buckingham Tree and Pole Spurs
Buckingham steel tree and pole climbers are tried and tested professional tools. With over 100 years experience manufacturing gaffs, they have consistently delivered professional, high-quality climbers. You can rely on a pair of Buckingham spurs season after season. These climbers fit the widest range of pads and straps, and have gaffs that are replaceable and can be sharpened. Buckingham steel climbers are a very popular choice with beginning tree climbers and experienced professionals alike for their affordability, durability, and strength.
In 2011, Buckingham changed their replaceable gaff design to the “dowel & screw” style of gaffs. You’ll find both the new gaff style as well as gaffs for older models on our replacement spur gaffs page.
Buckingham Steel Spurs without Straps or Pads
Add your own pads and straps and start climbing in Buckingham steel replaceable-gaffs spurs. Will work with any spur pad WesSpur sells, and universal straps. Sold as a pair.

Buckingham Steel Spur Set with T Pads
T pads provide expanded padding around the shin and are much more comfortable than the more basic L pads. T Pads are made of quality leather and a felted wool pad that cushions the leg against the spur climber shank.

Buckingham Steel Spur Set with Cast Aluminum Pads - Narrow
Buckingham spurs with Cast Aluminum pads are an excellent investment in top of the line comfort. Cast pads are solid aluminum and won't wear out like leather. Regular width pads measure about 5” at the widest point (inside), narrow pads measure about 4 1/4” at the widest point. (Most people wear Regular width.) Foam padding replacements available here.
