Whether you call them throw balls, throw weights, or throw bags, WesSpur stocks the right size for your hand throwing or Big Shot. We have two styles of heavy duty vinyl throw weights available, the standard throw weights which are perfect for hand tossing, and the bullet throw weights which are designed for use with the Big Shot Line Launcher.

The heavy duty vinyl throw weights are guaranteed for six months from the purchase date - we will replace any that break.
The new “Unbreakable” throw weights are backed by a 2 year manufacturer guarantee. These are seriously strong weights, and while they are slightly more expensive the manufacturer will replace any that break within 2 years of purchase.
Please note: the color of throw weights is dependent upon the size chosen. Please refer to the colors noted for each size of throw weight below if a specific color is needed.
“Unbreakable” Throw Weights
Made from ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) are made from the same fiber used in bullet proof vests to provide maximum strength and durability. When we say maximum durability - we mean it! These throw weights are backed by a 2-year manufacturer guarantee. These are the toughest throw weights I have ever seen. They are filled with non-toxic copper pellets and have a carabiner loop on the bottom.
Heavy Duty Vinyl Throw Weights
Our custom made throw weights are durable, fit the hand nicely, and won't soak up water. Re-worked design has a larger pouch for the shot, which reduces the risk of splitting and extends life. Lead shot has been replaced with steel shot for a greener throw weight. Ideal for hand tossing or use with the Big Shot. Available in 8oz to 20oz sizes. Filled with steel shot.
Bullet Style Heavy Duty Vinyl Throw Weights
Vinyl throw weights specially designed for use with the Big Shot Line Launcher. Bullet shape fits better in the Big Shot pouch. Our custom made throw weights are durable, fit the hand nicely, and won't soak up water. Ideal for hand tossing or use with the Big Shot. Available in 8oz - 20oz sizes. Filled with steel shot.
“Bumblebee” 4 oz Throw Weight
This downsized version of our heavy duty throw weights is perfect for use with a Big Shot equipped with the proper reel for those 140' plus shots. It also works great when clipped to the terminal end of your climb line when advancing your rope.

Petzl Jet Throw Bags
The Petzl Jet throw bag has a great feature - each bag is constructed with an interior layer so you have 2 layers of material keeping the shot in the bag. The shape and feel of these bags is perfect for throwing by hand, and the smallest will work great in the big shot. Each has a cordura loop on the bottom.
