Longer than stated, not as long as I would prefer

Description says 1 1/2" ,bashlin site says 1 5/8" . When mounted, I measured 1 7/8" from the body of the spur along the angle to the tip and with the stirrup on a flat surface the tip is approx 3/8 off surface. Really would like a 2 1/4" from bashlin
