The Petzl TWIN RELEASE SYSTEM is a 4:1 mechanical advantage system ready-to-use right out of the box.

Easy to attach to a tripod or a fixed overhead anchor for vertical access and rescue in industrial settings. Exceptional operation for lowering or lifting loads in confined spaces. You can also use it to adjust the angle of a litter or add tension to a tripod.

With a 4:1 mechanical advantage, the Twin Release system reduces effort fourfold and handles loads up to 280 kg (617 lb). The system can be released under load, giving you extra control when lowering with the auxiliary brake on the Twin Release. The toothless cam helps protect the rope and ensures a smooth transition between hauling and lowering.

When fully extended, the system provides a maximum working height of 15 meters (about 50 feet), giving you plenty of reach.

The Petzl Twin-Release system is pre-assembled at the factory and ready to delploy.
