Description
This 210mm (8 1/4") straight-bladed saw is ideal for pruning fine branches in tight spots such as ornamentals, fruit trees, or similar situations where precision cuts and a fine edge are of first importance. The Challenge saw has an impulse-hardened blade, ergonomic handle, and is supplied with a custom-fit hard plastic sheathe.
Recommended for: Fine pruning.

Fine pruning
Slightly more aggressive than I was hoping but does very well for small pruning. Use in combo with your hand pruners. Can't beat the price

Fine but slow. It will cut.
I needed a small fine cut for fruit trees, plenty happy with this as a less aggressive cut. The handle does come close to the teeth and it will gladly slice a thumb if you don't pay attention when removing scabbard. It does cut slower but it cuts fine, consider a small ichiban and use good loppers when it makes sense.
