"The Choker" Carabiner

"The Choker" is a modified HMS carabiner perfect for choking / girth hitching around the tree and maintaining a burly 40kn rating.

Coated with a durable powder coating for color-coding: green for climbing, red for rigging. Keep your gear easily separated by use. These carabiners have a special undercoating for corossion-resistance, making them very durable and long lasting.

This steel carabiner from At Height UK has a 50kn rating along it's main axis, and a 40kn when choked. (5:1 ratio recommended).

This tough carabiner is popular with tree climbers and riggers for strength and ease of use.
