I bought my first for clipping the bottom loops of throw weights together for isolating throw lines, especially double bagging. With those super tall big shot jobs, I have also used this biner to splice throw lines together. My climbing co-workers want some too. I keep one clipped inside both throw cubes, and on my harness.
