WesSpur’s rope lanyards are made by our in-house splicing company, Iron Street Rope Splicing. Additional rope options may become available throughout the year. We can also custom make a lanyard for you from any rope that can be bartacked (sewn).

Kernmantle Lanyards: Smooth jackets will work great with mechanical adjusters and devices. A slightly stiffer hand.

Climb Right Rope Snap: Double locking, aluminum, anodized black, 38 kN (8,677 lb) breaking strength
Eye Terminations: Sewn by Iron Street Rope Splicing, plastic hi-wall thimble on clip end, finished with heat-shrink to protect stitching and labeling

Rope Details

Bifrost 11mm (7/16") diameter, polyester-core kernmantle, 6,760 lb rope tensile strength. Distinct color, great handling.
Spec Static 11.5mm (7/16") diameter, kernmantle, 34.5 kN (7,755 lb) tensile strength . These lanyards were developed for Ascension Group training classes to be easily flipped up the stem and very abrasion-resistant.
