Steel foot-plates provide a stable, comfortable, platform to stand in your spurs.
Even with a good pair of boots, standing in your spurs all day puts great pressure on your arch. Foot plates provide a stable platform to stand on and take the pressure off. They feature traction on the bottom for a better grip on the tree. One pair weighs 2.5 lb. Compatible with all Buckingham Steel or Titanium climbers.

Foot Plates a Big "Step Up" for Spur Work

Overall these plates make a huge difference for short or long periods of time using climbing spurs. First, they add much greater stability and control between your feet and the your contact with the tree. Second, they provide much greater comfort to your feet since your weight load is distributed over a much greater area. Over the weekend I worked 5 hours in the tree on my Buckingham steel climbers with leather T pads and my legs and feet lasted much longer than before without the plates. Highly recommend.
