Gaff guards are important to keep your spikes from getting damaged or damaging other gear in transit. A drop or two of oil inside the gaff guard will keep your tree spikes from rusting during storage.

Great for transit

These are great for covering your gaffs. They cover the entire gaff. I put a little elastic string on mine to help them stay put. I would never go back to hoping the gaffs don't stab something during transit.
