Ideal for pruning large limbs, with a knife blade on the hooked tip for slicing away vines and clinging plants. Scabbard can be worn on the belt or as a leg scabbard. Never ascend without it

I have had my SAME Silky Sugoi saw for... it's embarrasing. I'm sure it doesn't cut as well as it did 12 years ago. I KNOW I need to change it out. But man, it still cuts pretty darn well. This is SOME KIND of steel they use on these things. Unbelievable how long this blade has lasted me. Talk about ROI - good Lord. Some arborists favor a straight blade. Maybe I can see how that could be advantageous sometimes. I never ascend without this saw. If that 'little voice' tells me to be super cautious with a cut, I'll notch it w/my chainsaw, but I'll finish the backcut with my Silky. If I get pulled off balance or something doesn't fall quite right and I have to leap away... it's a beautiful thing, the quiet cut.
