Arbor-Plex 12mm Rope
Details
One of the first lines ever designed specifically for arborists. Arbor-Plex is a 12-strand single braid rope with a polyester cover surrounding polyolefin fibers in the center, making it abrasion resistant as well as lightweight. It is a great choice for wet climates where mildew and rot can be a problem.
Arbor-Plex is often used as an economical climbing line in 12mm diameter, and is a good tag line or inexpensive light rigging rope.

Classic

This rope is great for those days when a blakes hitch and spurs are all you need. Takes the abuse of natural crotch descents. Does not feel exceptionally stretchy in my opinion but compared to 24 strand there is a difference. I even use it for small limb rigging. All in all, when simple is enough this rope is fit for the job.
My first rope

Brand new to climbing and budget-minded as I'm not in the profession, I purchased this rope six months ago after confirming with Wesspur's Dave that it would work with a simple Blake's hitch. It's performed well and I've trimmed several med to large oaks on my property so far. No visible wear even though I didn't have a friction saver to start. I've added a hitch cord and foot ascender with.good results. All knots tied easily and held. Doesn't feel great on bare hands, but I use gloves. Good value for a dependable line.
