OMG, CADDY PADS!
by Miko
These earned the nickname 'Cadillac pads' a long time ago, and take it from me, they are MILES ahead of any kind of soft wrap situation. I HATED my Buckingham permanent gaffs until I got these things. Yeah, the shanks did click and clank a bit against the a-loo-min-i-um, but ARE WE NOT MEN? (or WOMEN? DEVO? Anyone? Bueller...) Use some ingenuity. Grab some tape, or foam, or whatever rubber strips you almost threw out, and quiet them down. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Huge neoprene cushioning

The cast aluminum doesn’t seem like it will ever break with normal use. Replacement pads means these will last forever. Only pads I’ve ever had and have never been uncomfortable. Let several others borrow them and received reports back that they have been more comfortable that the distels and geckos.
