A new look for a tried and tested rope construction! Arborfreak tree climbing rope will be popular with climbers who want durability and ease of handling.
Arborfreak is a durable 16-strand rope with maximum firmness for all climbing techniques. Arborfreak has low stretch and excellent knot-holding capability, with great grip. Spliceable at both ends without milking, it is easy to inspect.
No other rope we stock has the same combination of strength, performance, and durability. This rope is an excellent balance of high strength (6,500 lb. spliced) and low weight (7.7 lb. per 100 ft).
Arborfreak is the replacement for ArborMaster, which was sold under many names: Blue Streak, Bigfoot, Hawkeye, Gold Streak, etc. This is the same rope construction, with new branding.

Good replacement for BigFoot

I have been climbing BigFoot since 2016 in 1/2". It works well with the HitchHiker as single or doubled line. I believe ArborFreak is the replacement for BigFoot since it has the same specs. If so, this line is durable and strong from my experience using almost every climb.
Class one eye splice is a joke!
